Emulsions

Screen printing emulsion is the light-sensitive coating you apply to mesh to create your stencil — it’s the foundation of every screen print. We stock diazo, dual-cure, and photopolymer (SBQ) emulsions from Chromaline, Murakami, and Saati for every ink system. Choosing the right emulsion matters: use diazo for budget-friendly plastisol printing, dual-cure for the best balance of resolution and durability, and photopolymer for maximum speed and fine detail. Printing with water-based or discharge inks? You must use a water-resistant emulsion — standard emulsion will dissolve mid-run. Not sure which emulsion to buy? Call (512) 454-0505
