Plastisol ink is the #1 most popular ink for screen printing custom t-shirts — and for good reason. Plastisol sits on top of the fabric (rather than soaking in like water-based ink), delivering vibrant, opaque colors on both light and dark garments with a simple heat cure at 320°F. It won’t dry in the screen, it’s easy to color match, and it works on cotton, polyester, and blends. Plastisol gives you brighter colors, easier printing, and works on more fabric types. Water-based gives you a softer hand feel. Not sure which to choose?
