Description
30:1 Concentrate. Powerful Emulsion Removal. Extremely Economical.
One quart of Printers Choice Emulsion Remover Concentrate dilutes to 30 quarts of working solution — making it one of the most cost-effective emulsion removers available. Works on all photopolymer, diazo, and dual-cure emulsions from all major brands. Suitable for manual, dip tank, and automated reclaim systems.
Why Screen Printers Choose This Product
💧
1:30 Dilution Ratio
One part concentrate mixes with up to 30 parts water. This extreme concentration reduces cost per screen dramatically compared to ready-to-use emulsion removers, particularly for high-volume shops.
🧬
Works on All Emulsion Types
Dissolves photopolymer, diazo, and dual-cure emulsions reliably. Compatible with all major emulsion brands including Chromaline, Murakami, Ulano, Kiwo, Speedball, and Printers Choice.
⚙️
Manual, Dip Tank & Automated Systems
Formulated for flexibility — works equally well for manual washout, dip tank reclaiming, and automated screen reclaim machines. One product for your entire reclaim setup.
♻️
Economical & Environmentally Conscious
The high dilution ratio reduces chemical consumption and packaging waste per screen reclaimed. Follow local wastewater regulations for disposal of spent reclaim chemistry.
How to Use Printers Choice Emulsion Remover
Apply Ink Degradent and rinse thoroughly. The screen should be clear of bulk ink before applying emulsion remover.
Mix 1 part Emulsion Remover Concentrate with up to 30 parts water in a clean container. For automatic systems, prepare per equipment manufacturer’s guidelines.
Apply the diluted solution to the emulsion (squeegee) side of the screen using a spray bottle, brush, or reclaim system.
Allow the solution to penetrate for 1–3 minutes depending on emulsion thickness and age.
Gently scrub both sides of the screen with a suitable brush or pad to aid emulsion breakdown.
Rinse thoroughly with high-pressure water from the bottom of the screen upward until all emulsion is removed.
If ghost images remain, apply a haze remover. Follow with a screen degreaser before coating.
Dilution Guide
Manual Reclaim
Mix 1 part concentrate to 30 parts water in a spray bottle or applicator container. Apply to screen and scrub. Adjust dilution for heavier emulsions or harder-to-remove stencils.
Dip Tank
Fill dip tank with the standard 1:30 dilution. Submerge screens per your normal dip tank process. Monitor concentration over time and refresh as needed.
Automated System
Follow equipment manufacturer dilution recommendations. The 1:30 ratio is a starting point — adjust for your machine type and screen volume.
Cost Tip
One gallon of concentrate produces 30 gallons of working solution. For shops reclaiming 50+ screens per day, the 5-gallon size offers significant savings per screen.
Important Notes
💡 Dilution Accuracy
Accurate mixing matters — too weak and removal is slow; too strong wastes concentrate. Use a measuring cup or graduated container for consistency.
⚠️ Remove Ink First
Apply emulsion remover to screens that have already had ink removed. Residual ink can interfere with emulsion removal and redeposit on mesh.
♻️ Wastewater Compliance
Spent emulsion remover solution contains dissolved emulsion. Follow local wastewater regulations for proper disposal of reclaim chemistry.
How Much Do I Need?
Per Application
Mix 1 part concentrate with up to 30 parts water. Apply to the emulsion side, allow 1–3 minutes, scrub, and high-pressure rinse.
Coverage Estimate
One gallon of concentrate produces 30 gallons of working solution — roughly 300–500+ screen reclaims depending on screen size and emulsion thickness.
💡 For dip tanks, prepare a larger batch at 1:30. Monitor effectiveness over time — refresh when removal slows noticeably.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Common questions from screen printers:
What emulsion types does this remove?
It removes photopolymer, diazo, and dual-cure emulsions. Compatible with emulsions from Chromaline, Murakami, Ulano, Kiwo, Speedball, Printers Choice, and other major brands.
What is the correct dilution ratio?
Mix 1 part concentrate with up to 30 parts water for the standard working solution. For heavily coated screens or older emulsions, start at a slightly stronger ratio (1:20) and adjust as needed.
Can this be used in a dip tank?
Yes. It is well-suited for dip tank reclaiming. Prepare a batch at 1:30 and refresh the solution as it becomes saturated with dissolved emulsion over time.
Do I need to remove ink from the screen before using emulsion remover?
Yes. Ink should be removed first using an ink degradent. Residual ink can interfere with emulsion removal performance.
What is the shelf life and how should I store it?
Store concentrate in a cool, dry area in a tightly sealed container away from direct sunlight. Contact us for specific shelf life information.
