EasyWeed is the perfect vinyl to learn on. Here is the whole process in three simple steps:

1 · Design & cut (mirrored)

Create your design and flip/mirror it. Load EasyWeed with the shiny carrier side down, color side up and cut. No need to cut through the clear carrier – just the vinyl.

2 · Weed away the extra

Peel away the vinyl you do not need with a weeding tool, leaving just your design on the clear carrier sheet. EasyWeed weeds cleanly, even on fine detail.

3 · Press & peel

Place your design on the garment, press at 305°F for 10-15 seconds with medium pressure, then peel the carrier hot or cold. Done!

Cut shiny side down & mirror your design. These are Siser’s suggested starting points — fine-tune force for your blade, cutting strip and mat wear, and run a small test cut first. Always mirror (flip) the design and cut the vinyl only (kiss cut), not the carrier.

Heat Press & Pressing Instructions

Heat Press

Preheat the garment 2-3 seconds to remove moisture
Temperature: 305°F / 150°C (EasyPress users add ~30°)
Cover the design with a cover sheet or multipurpose paper
Press with medium pressure for 10-15 seconds
Peel the carrier hot or cold
If any area lifts, re-cover and press again 5-10 seconds

Home Iron

Set the iron between the Cotton and Linen setting
Use a firm, flat surface (not an ironing board)
Cover with a cover sheet or multipurpose paper
Apply firm pressure without sliding, 10-15 seconds per section
Peel the carrier hot or cold
Re-press 5-10 seconds if needed

Wash & care

Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Machine wash cold with mild detergent, tumble dry normal. Do not dry clean; avoid liquid fabric softener.

Siser EasyWeed® 20″ HTV – Frequently Asked Questions

Is this sold by the yard?

Yes. EasyWeed 20″ is 20 inches wide and sold by the yard – choose 1, 5, 10, 25 or 50-yard lengths. Multiple yards ship as one continuous roll.

What cutter settings should I use?

On the Siser Juliet® and Romeo®: 45°/60° blade, Force 5-10, Offset 0.250, Speed 10. Cut shiny side down and mirror your design. Test cut first, and call us for Cricut, Silhouette or Graphtec settings.

Do I need to mirror my design?

Yes – always mirror (flip) your design before cutting, and load the vinyl with the shiny carrier side down and color side up.

What temperature and time do I press at?

Press at 305°F / 150°C with medium pressure for 10-15 seconds, then peel hot or cold. Preheat the garment 2-3 seconds first and use a cover sheet. Re-press 5-10 seconds if any edge lifts.

Can I layer EasyWeed colors?

Yes. EasyWeed has quick tack for layering – press the first color 1-2 seconds, add the next layer, then do a full 10-15 second press on the final layer.

What fabrics does it work on?

Cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends and leather – perfect for tees, hoodies, tote bags, caps and more.

How do I wash it?

Wait 24 hours after pressing, then machine wash cold with mild detergent and tumble dry on a normal setting. Do not dry clean and avoid liquid fabric softener.

I am brand new – what do I need to get started?
