Holographic is a top-layer material – do not layer other HTV on top of it.
Always test-cut and test-press on scrap first; blade condition and press calibration vary.
Translucent Crystal and Pearl shades take on the garment color underneath – test on your actual garment.

Holographic presses at 320°F with medium pressure and a cold peel. A quality heat press gives you the even, repeatable heat that special-effect vinyl needs.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is Holographic Silver the same as chrome or mirror vinyl?
No. Chrome vinyl gives a flat mirror finish, while Holographic Silver adds shifting rainbow chips on top of a silver base, so it sparkles in every color as it moves. It is a special-effect HTV, not a smooth chrome.
What temperature do I press Siser Holographic Silver?
Apply at 320°F / 160°C with medium pressure for 15-20 seconds, then peel the carrier cold. If you use an EasyPress, add roughly 30 degrees. Preheat the garment for 2-3 seconds first.
Do I peel hot or cold?
Cold peel. Let the design cool completely before removing the clear carrier for the cleanest release.
Can I layer other vinyl on top of Holographic?
No. Holographic is a top-layer material. You can butt it up against other HTV, but do not press another layer directly over it.
What fabrics can I use it on?
100% cotton, 100% polyester, cotton/poly blends, and leather.
How do I cut it on my plotter?
Cut a mirrored (reversed) image and weed the excess. On a Romeo or Juliet, start at 45° blade / Force 25-32 / Offset .250 / Speed 10. Always test cut first.
How do I wash garments made with Holographic?
Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Machine wash cold with mild detergent and dry on a normal setting. Do not dry clean, and skip liquid fabric softener.
