How to Apply Siser Glitter
1Cut a MIRRORED (reversed) design with the glitter side down – a 60° blade and slightly higher force handle the thicker material best.
2Weed away the excess glitter around your design with a weeding tool.
3Preheat the garment 2-3 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
4Cover the design with a Teflon or cover sheet, then press at 320°F for 15-20 seconds with medium/firm pressure.
5Peel the clear carrier while it is still WARM. If any glitter lifts, re-cover and press again for a few seconds.
Tip: Glitter is thick and textured – it is not made for tiny, fine-detail cuts. Keep letters and lines a little bolder for clean weeding and a crisp press.

It is thick and textured; avoid very fine or thin detail for cleanest results.

Does Siser Glitter True Blue shed?
No. Siser Glitter True Blue is a solid, textured glitter film – you get the full sparkle look with none of the loose glitter mess, so it is safe and clean even on kids’ apparel (it’s CPSIA Certified).
What temperature do I press Siser Glitter True Blue?
Press at 320°F / 160°C with medium to firm pressure for 15-20 seconds, using a Teflon or cover sheet over the carrier. Preheat the garment 2-3 seconds first.
Do I peel hot or cold?
Peel WARM. Let it cool just slightly, then peel the clear carrier. If any glitter lifts, re-cover and press again for a few seconds.
Can I layer other vinyl on top of Glitter?
No. Glitter is a top-layer material. You can layer Glitter on TOP of EasyWeed, but never press another layer over the Glitter.
Is it good for fine detail?
Glitter is thick and textured, so it is not ideal for very fine or thin detail. Keep letters and lines a bit bolder for clean weeding and crisp results.
How is it sold?
By the yard from a 20-inch wide roll. Order the number of yards you need and we cut it continuously.
How do I wash it?
