Temperature Tip: Cool Before Use in Warm Weather

For best performance, use TTD High Tack Mask when room temperature is below 70°F (21°C). In warm or humid conditions, the adhesive can become too soft. If needed, place the mask in a refrigerator or freezer for 5–10 minutes before use to firm up the tack. The paper backing can be reused to store masked designs until you’re ready to press.

High Tack vs. Easy Mask — What’s the Difference?

Siser makes two TTD mask variants. Easy Mask uses a medium-tack adhesive — ideal for most standard print-and-cut work. High Tack uses a stronger adhesive specifically designed for situations where Easy Mask doesn’t provide enough grip: large designs that tend to wrinkle during masking, highly detailed small graphics, thick or heavy materials, and specialty media like ColorPrint Soft Opaque. High Tack was originally Siser’s Evolution Mask, rebranded. It’s the same formula, stronger grip.

Prevents Wrinkling and Warping on Large Designs

When masking large print-and-cut designs, thinner or less tacky masks allow the design to shift, fold, or wrinkle during the squeegee process. High Tack’s stronger adhesive grips the vinyl firmly the moment it contacts it, creating a bond that holds the design flat during squeegee application. The result is a clean, wrinkle-free transfer ready to press without repositioning or reworking.

Crystal Clear Film — Precise Placement Every Time

Both TTD masks use a fully transparent film. This lets you see the design and the garment through the mask simultaneously, so you can position the transfer exactly where it needs to go before pressing. No guessing, no repositioning after the fact. For multi-color or precisely placed designs, clear film is essential.

No Residue — Warm Peel After Pressing

Standard sign-industry transfer tapes leave adhesive residue on garments after heat application. TTD High Tack Mask is specifically formulated for heat transfer use — it releases cleanly after pressing with a warm peel. No sticky residue on the garment, no damage to the print, no slowing down of the production process.

Reusable — Store Designs on the Paper Backing

TTD High Tack Mask is reusable across multiple transfers. If you’re not pressing immediately after masking, place the masked design back onto the paper backing it came on. This protects the adhesive and keeps the design ready to press whenever you need it. Store multiple masked designs in advance for faster batch production.

Two Sheet Sizes Match Your Print Size

Available in 8.4″×11″ sheets sized for standard inkjet print output, and 11″×16″ sheets for larger-format designs. The 11″×16″ size pairs with the EasyColor DTV 11″×16.5″ sheet format. Cut the mask slightly larger than your design for the best bond and easiest peeling.

Use it for multi-piece designs, large prints, and any EasyColor transfer that needs a firm grip to prevent wrinkling during application. Single-piece designs can be pressed without mask, but High Tack Mask is always recommended for best results.
