Description
Matsui Yama HD — High-Density Raised Prints
When a logo needs to pop off the garment with sharp, elevated edges, HD is the tool. The Matsui Yama HD is a high-density silicone system built for raised logos, tactile branding, chest emblems and bold lettering: print it through a low mesh with a thick stencil and a print-flash-print build, and it stacks into a crisp, dimensional emblem with clean edges. Because it’s silicone, that raised print stays soft and flexible and rebounds with the fabric — so it won’t crack, split or peel on premium athleticwear, compression leggings, jerseys or luxury streetwear. Run it natural or tint up to 10% with Yama pigments for custom HD colors.
Why Print High-Density
Bold, raised dimension
Builds real height for logos and emblems that stand off the garment with a premium, tactile feel.
Crisp, clean edges
A thick stencil and roller squeegee give sharp, badge-style edges — no rounded mush.
Soft & crack-proof
Unlike rigid high-density inks, silicone HD flexes and rebounds — no cracking on stretch.
Custom HD colors
Tint up to 10% with Yama pigments for any color in a high-density build.
How to Print HD
1 · Catalyze
Stir, add 10% catalyst (and up to 10% pigment for color), mix uniform, rest 5–10 min. 4–6 hr pot life.
2 · Build the height
30–80 mesh (12–32T) — lower mesh = more height — with a thick solvent-resistant stencil and a 60–70 durometer or triple-duro squeegee. Print-flash-print to stack layers; a roller squeegee sharpens edges.
3 · Cure
Flash ~220°F for 5–8 sec between layers; final cure 300–320°F for 1–2 min (film above 250°F). Don’t over-flash — it flattens the build.
