Pick your ink system (including T-Charge RFU), choose a Pantone color, set your batch size, and the CCI Color Matching System builds the exact mixing formula — right here on our site. Works best on desktop.

Preparation & printing
Prep screens with a water-resist emulsion (post-harden the stencil for long runs). To discharge, stir in 3–5% CCI D-Powder by weight (sold separately) and mix well — raise or lower the percentage to dial in the result. Print Blue 072 ready-to-use on light cotton, or activated on dischargeable 100% cotton. Heavy squeegee pressure is typical; flash between colors to limit build-up and mist the screen with water on long runs. Thin up to 10% with water and add up to 5% EnviroLine® Retarder for open time. Activated ink: use within 8 hours (pot life up to 24). Mix Pantone shades on the CCI Color Matching System.
Curing & cleanup
Cure a minimum of 90 seconds at 320°F — ideally 2–3 minutes at 340–350°F — with high-volume forced air. Don’t let the print dry before curing: the more moisture, the better the discharge. Proper cure drives both the discharge and the wash-fastness; if any activator odor remains, re-cure. Clean up with water; use CCI EnviroSolv® on press and CCI WB-1 for dried ink and tough haze.

Why printers reach for T-Charge

What “discharge” means
Discharge inks chemically remove the garment’s dye during cure and replace it with pigment — so the design lives in the shirt, not on top. Almost no hand, even on big solids over dark cotton.
Why R.F.U. matters
Ready-for-use means the color comes pre-mixed and balanced — no base-and-pigment guesswork. Add D-Powder for discharge, skip it for a soft water-based print.
Where it shines
Soft-hand retail tees, big solid prints on dark cotton, vintage/wash-worn looks, and any job where a heavy plastisol hand would feel cheap. Best on reactive-dyed 100% cotton.

Always pre-test. Not all dyes discharge; poly/blends won’t, and not every pigment discharges.
Wash before packaging or label to wash before wear — per CCI, some residue can remain after curing.
