Application

Print each color ready-to-use on light cotton, or add 3–6% D-Powder by weight to discharge dischargeable 100% cotton. Mix Pantone shades on the CCI Color Matching System. Add up to 5% EnviroLine® Retarder for open time and up to 10% water to thin. Activated ink stays usable about 8 hours, so mix only what you’ll run.

Curing & cleanup

Cure at about 320°F (160°C) with good ventilation — reaching full cure is what activates the dye discharge. Always confirm the result with a wash test. Clean up with water; use CCI EnviroSolv® on press and CCI WB-1 for dried ink and haze.

What “discharge” means

Discharge inks chemically remove the garment’s dye during cure and replace it with pigment — so the design lives in the shirt, not on top. The result is a print with almost no hand, even big solid coverage on dark cotton.

Why R.F.U. matters

Ready-for-use means the colors come pre-mixed and balanced — no base-and-pigment guesswork. Add D-Powder when you want discharge, skip it when you want a soft water-based print. One inventory, two techniques.

Where it shines

Soft-hand retail tees, large solid backs on black cotton, vintage/“wash-worn” looks, and any job where a heavy plastisol hand would feel cheap. Best on reactive-dyed 100% cotton.

What’s the difference between Kit A, B, and C?

All three include the same 14 colors and D-Powder activator — only the volume changes. Kit A is 8 oz of each color (196 g D-Powder), Kit B is pints (378 g), and Kit C is quarts (756 g). Start with Kit A to learn discharge, then scale up.

Do I need to buy anything else to discharge?

No — the D-Powder activator is already in the kit. You just need dischargeable 100% cotton garments. Add 3–6% D-Powder by weight to a color, print, and cure to activate the dye discharge.

Can I use T-Charge without discharging?

Yes. Without D-Powder, T-Charge prints as a soft-hand ready-for-use water-based ink on light cotton. Add D-Powder only when you want the discharge effect on darks — one kit, two techniques.

Which fabrics discharge well?

Reactive-dyed 100% cotton discharges best. Many dark cotton blanks work, but dyes vary by mill and color, and polyester or poly-blends won’t discharge. Always run a wash test on your actual blanks first.

How long is the ink usable after I add D-Powder?

Activated ink has roughly an 8-hour working window, so mix only what you’ll print in a session for the most consistent discharge.

Which 14 colors are included?
