📖
Pantone Book Matching
Blend with other Infinity colors using Pantone Formula Guide ratios printed right in the book. No CMS software. No computer. Weigh, mix, print.

🌊
Wet-on-Wet Capable

PVC-Free
Environmentally friendly water-based formulation. Safe for sustainable production.

📖 How to Match a Pantone® Color — Infinity Series Method

  1. Customer selects a Pantone color from the Pantone Formula Guide.
  2. Open the Guide to that color. The Infinity Series formula is printed right there — color ratios by weight.
  3. Weigh Infinity colors on a gram scale per the formula. Mix thoroughly in a clean container.
  4. Print a test swatch on your actual garment. Fully cure.
  5. Compare cured swatch to the Pantone page. Adjust if needed. Run production.

⚠️ Infinity Series is Water-Based Only — No Discharge

Infinity Series inks cannot discharge garment dye. For dark cotton garments, print over a white underbase. If you need discharge capability from one ink system, use the Matsui Alpha Series — same Pantone book workflow, same ease of use, with discharge on dark 100% cotton.

🛡️ Dark Garment Printing — Infinity Series

Infinity Series is water-based only — it cannot discharge on dark cotton. For dark garments, print a white underbase first (with blocker underneath), then print the Infinity color on top.

Blending Infinity Dark Blue C with Other Infinity Colors

Deep navy / dark blue — the darkest blue in the Infinity lineup. Covers the deep blue and navy Pantone range and darkens lighter blues.

+ Reflex Blue
→ full blue range from navy to vivid
+ Violet

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is Infinity Dark Blue good for navy spot colors?
Yes — Dark Blue prints as a deep navy on light garments. It is one of the most frequently used spot colors in the Infinity lineup for team and corporate work.
Do I need a separate base?
NO. Infinity inks are RFU — complete inks that print directly from the container. No base, no pigment calculations, no software.
How do I match a Pantone® color?
Open your Pantone Formula Guide to the desired color. The Infinity formula is printed right there — ratios by weight. Weigh on a gram scale, mix, print a test swatch, compare, adjust if needed.
Can I print on dark garments?
Yes — over a white underbase with appropriate blocker underneath (Under Base Blocker Gray for dark cotton, Black LG for polyester/blends). Infinity Series cannot discharge — if you need discharge on dark cotton, use the Matsui Alpha Series.
What is the difference between Infinity and Alpha Series?
Both are RFU systems using Pantone book formulas with no software. Alpha Series can discharge on dark 100% cotton (add activator). Infinity is water-based only — it cannot discharge. Choose Alpha for discharge. Choose Infinity for water-based-only workflow with matte finish at 305 mesh.
What mesh should I use?
Up to 305/inch — the highest mesh capability of any Matsui RFU system.
What additives should I use?
Quick Additive (6–9%) for an all-in-one solution: open time, wash fastness, and softness combined. Or individually: Retarder MG (1–3%), Fixer WF-N (1–3%), Softener MG (1–5%). Adjust viscosity with Thickener B or RV Additive.
