Description

Stretch White 301 — WORKHORSE PERFORMANCE WHITE — high opacity + excellent elasticity. 150–180 mesh. Dark garment specialist.

Stretch White 301 solves the core problem of performance fabric white printing: most white inks can deliver opacity or elasticity — not both. High-opacity whites tend to crack on stretch fabrics. Soft, stretchy whites tend to be too thin for dark garments. Stretch White 301 was engineered to eliminate that tradeoff. It deposits enough pigment through 150–180 mesh to produce bold, visible white on black Dri-Fit and dark performance polyester — while its acrylic binder stretches and rebounds with the fabric without cracking, peeling, or delaminating.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Should I use Stretch White or EasyPrint White?
Choose Stretch White when you need opaque, bright white on dark performance fabrics at 150–180 mesh — bold graphics, numbers, names, solid fills, and underbases. Choose EasyPrint White when your design requires fine detail at 200+ mesh and softness matters more than maximum brightness. Most performance-fabric shops stock both.
Can Stretch White be used as an underbase for dark performance fabrics?
Yes — this is one of its primary roles. Print the Stretch White layer, flash at 160°F, then overprint your color layers on top. Its high opacity provides a solid white foundation for accurate color reproduction on dark Dri-Fit and polyester.
Will Stretch White crack on compression garments?
No. Stretch White’s acrylic binder is specifically formulated for the extreme stretch-and-recovery cycles of compression garments. The ink film stretches with the fabric and rebounds without cracking or delaminating — even after repeated washing and athletic use.
What mesh should I use with Stretch White?
Use 150–156 mesh for maximum opacity and coverage on dark garments. Use 160–180 mesh for moderate detail with good coverage. Do not use mesh above 180 — switch to EasyPrint White (225 max) for higher mesh counts.
Should I use Stretch White or Kombat White?
Kombat White is brighter and more opaque than Stretch White — it delivers the boldest possible standalone white. However, Kombat is for top-layer direct printing only (not overprinting), and maxes out at 160 mesh. Stretch White has a wider mesh range (150–180) and works as both standalone white and underbase. Choose Kombat for maximum brightness; choose Stretch White for versatility.
What mesh count should I use?
Use mesh up to 150–180/inch. See the product description for specific guidance on mesh selection for dark garments vs. standard production.
Do I need to add anything to this ink before printing?
No. Stretch White 301 prints straight from the bucket with no viscosity modifications required. Optional additives (Retarder MG, Fixer WF-N, Quick Additive) are available for fine-tuning specific applications.
Is it safe for children’s garments and major brand RSL compliance?
Yes. OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, CPSIA and HR4040 compliant. Meets all RSLs for major brands. PVC-free, phthalate-free, formaldehyde-free.
Can I mix custom colors?
Yes — add up to 15% Matsui Neo Pigments to Stretch White 301 to create custom pastel and tinted colors.
