DCC NeoChroma S-45350+ Pro Dye-Sublimation Printer – 76″ Industrial Sublimation Transfer Printer
DCC
The DCC NeoChroma S-45350+ Pro is an industrial dye-sublimation transfer printer built for continuous production — sportswear, cut-and-sew apparel, soft signage and home textiles. DCC publishes 188 m²/hr (about 2,023 sq ft/hr) at 360 × 1200 dpi in single-pass mode, on media up to 76 inches wide.
The part that matters on a capital purchase: it is field-upgradeable. When your volume outgrows it, DCC upgrades the machine toward the S-45450+ Pro and S-45500 Pro rather than selling you a replacement.
Price range: $68,450.00 through $80,450.00
Description
Buy the speed you need now. Upgrade the machine, not the investment.
A production sublimation printer is a five-year decision made with two years of visibility. Buy too small and you are back in the market inside eighteen months. Buy too big and you have financed capacity that sits idle while you grow into it.
The NeoChroma S-Series is built around that problem. The S-45350+ Pro runs 188 m²/hr — roughly 2,023 square feet an hour — and the same machine can be upgraded in the field toward the 279 m²/hr S-45450+ Pro and the 365.5 m²/hr S-45500 Pro. The frame, the chassis and the footprint stay; the performance modules change.
What makes this machine different
Field-upgradeable, not replaceable
Start at 188 m²/hr and move up the S-Series as your volume grows. DCC designed the platform so a single printer can be enhanced rather than swapped — which is a different financial proposition from buying a second machine.
Solid Core chassis
A single-structure frame in cold-rolled high-tensile steel. On a 76-inch carriage travelling at production speed, vibration is what blurs fine line detail and softens registration — the rigidity is there to stop it reaching the print.
Intelligent curing system
The curing system is designed to dry the sheet properly while cutting power consumption by roughly 12%, and it is controlled from the same panel as the printer. On a machine running shifts, drying energy is a real line on the electricity bill.
76-inch media width
1930 mm of usable media covers full-width soft signage, cut-and-sew panels and multi-up nesting that a 64-inch machine has to split across two passes of paper.
18-inch jumbo rolls
460 mm outer diameter and rolls up to 3,000 meters. Fewer roll changes means more continuous unattended running and less operator time spent reloading.
Per-tank low-ink alarms
Each of the four ink tanks has its own audible and visual alarm. On an unattended overnight run, a starved channel is not just a wasted roll — it is a head you may have damaged.
Paper handling you can tune
Vacuum-controlled bed adjustment and a manual pincher lift let the operator match hold-down and tension to the paper in use, down to 30 gsm — which is where lightweight transfer paper cockles and strikes heads on a less adjustable machine.
Touchscreen interface
Setup, adjustment and job monitoring from one full-color touchscreen, rather than a control box plus a laptop plus a separate dryer panel.
Where the speed actually lands
188 m²/hr is the one-pass number
DCC publishes three modes at 360 × 1200 dpi: 188 m²/hr at one pass, 121.7 m²/hr at 1.6 pass and 88.5 m²/hr at two passes. Higher pass counts lay down more ink and smooth banding at the cost of throughput.
Quote your capacity from the mode you will actually run for the work you actually sell, not from the headline figure.
Throughput is paper, not garments
Sublimation printers are rated in square meters of transfer paper per hour. Turning that into finished pieces depends on your nesting efficiency, your calender or press speed, and your cut-and-sew line.
Tell us your average panel size and daily target and we will work the arithmetic through to finished pieces with you before you buy.
The upgrade path, in numbers
S-45350+ Pro: 188 m²/hr. S-45450+ Pro: 279 m²/hr. S-45500 Pro: 365.5 m²/hr, all at 360 × 1200 dpi single pass.
That is roughly a 48% step and then a further 31%. If your growth curve is steep, ask us to price the next model alongside this one before you decide.
Plan the room as well as the printer
This is a wide-format industrial machine with a heated curing section. It needs floor space for a 76-inch web plus operator and service access, a suitable power supply, ventilation, and somewhere to handle 3,000-meter jumbo rolls.
Send us your floor plan and electrical service and we will confirm the site before anything ships.

Everything around the printer
Heat presses & calenders
Sublimation is a two-step process — the transfer is only finished once it is pressed.
Sublimation printers & inks
Desktop and small-format sublimation for sampling, gifts and short runs alongside the production line.
RIP software
Nesting and color management decide how much of that 188 m²/hr becomes saleable product.

Equipment financing & Section 179
Finance it, keep your cash
Spread the cost into predictable monthly payments and keep working capital for paper, ink and payroll.
Section 179 may apply
Qualifying equipment bought and placed in service during the tax year can often be deducted in full that year rather than depreciated. Annual limits apply.
Financed equipment can qualify
Section 179 generally applies whether you pay cash or finance, so the deduction can land before the machine is paid off.
Watch the calendar
It has to be placed in service in the tax year you claim it — for most businesses by December 31. Built-to-order lead time and freight count against that date.
Check terms and apply through our financing partner, or call and we will walk through it with your quote.
Financing is subject to credit approval. Section 179 eligibility and limits depend on your business and tax situation — River City Supply does not provide tax advice, so confirm with your accountant. You can also browse our equipment financing category.
Speeds, media specification and the upgrade path here are DCC’s published figures for the S-45350+ Pro. Printhead configuration, ink capacity, electrical service, dimensions and shipping weight are confirmed in writing on your quote — ask for the current spec sheet before you commit.
188 m²/hr is the single-pass figure. If your work needs 1.6 or 2 passes, plan capacity from 121.7 or 88.5 m²/hr instead.
A printer this fast will outrun a single small heat press. Make sure your calender or press capacity and your paper supply can keep up before you scale the front end.
Crating, freight, installation and lead time are quoted separately. Get all of it in writing before you promise a customer a start date.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions
How fast is the NeoChroma S-45350+ Pro?
DCC publishes 188 m²/hr — about 2,023 square feet per hour — at 360 × 1200 dpi in single-pass mode. At 1.6 pass it runs 121.7 m²/hr and at 2 passes 88.5 m²/hr. Higher pass counts lay more ink and smooth banding at the cost of throughput, so plan capacity around the mode you will actually run.
You may see 365 m²/hr quoted — which is right?
365.5 m²/hr is the figure for the S-45500 Pro, the fastest model in the NeoChroma S-Series, and it appears on some series-level marketing. For the S-45350+ Pro specifically, DCC’s own specification table gives 188 m²/hr at single pass. We would rather quote you the model number than the range-topping one.
What does ‘field-upgradeable’ actually mean here?
DCC built the S-Series so one printer can be enhanced as your volume grows rather than replaced. From the S-45350+ Pro at 188 m²/hr, the path runs to the S-45450+ Pro at 279 m²/hr and the S-45500 Pro at 365.5 m²/hr. Ask us to confirm exactly what an upgrade involves and what it costs before you buy — that answer should be in writing, not implied.
How wide can it print?
It accepts media up to 1930 mm (76 inches) wide, down to 30 gsm, on rolls up to 460 mm (18 inches) outer diameter and 3,000 meters long. The 18-inch roll capacity is about unattended running — fewer changeovers across a shift.
What is the intelligent curing system?
The integrated drying and curing section is designed to dry the transfer sheet properly while reducing power consumption by roughly 12%, and it is operated from the same control panel as the printer rather than a separate box. On a machine running shifts, drying energy is a genuine operating cost.
Why does the chassis matter?
Solid Core is DCC’s single-structure frame in cold-rolled high-tensile steel. Across a 76-inch carriage at production speed, vibration shows up as softened fine detail and drifting registration. A rigid frame is the part of the machine you cannot retrofit later.
What happens if a color runs out mid-run?
Each of the four ink tanks has its own audible and visual low-ink alarm, so the operator is warned before a channel starves. That matters most on unattended overnight runs, where a starved channel can mean a damaged printhead rather than just a wasted roll.
Can it handle lightweight transfer paper?
It is specified down to 30 gsm, and paper handling is adjustable — vacuum-controlled bed settings plus a manual pincher lift let the operator match hold-down and tension to the paper in use. That adjustability is what prevents cockling and head strikes on thin stock.
What else do I need to run sublimation at this scale?
A calender or heat press sized to match the printer — a fast printer will outrun a small press within a shift. Plus RIP software for nesting and color management, sublimation paper and ink, and polyester blanks or hard goods to press onto. Tell us your whole workflow and we will make sure nothing downstream becomes the bottleneck.
What do I need in the room?
Floor space for a 76-inch web with operator and service access, a suitable electrical supply, ventilation for the curing section, and handling for 3,000-meter jumbo rolls. Send us your floor plan and electrical service and we will confirm the site is ready before anything ships.
How does it ship, and what is the lead time?
Built to order and shipped crated by freight. Crating, installation and lead time are quoted separately from the machine — get all of it in writing before you schedule installation. See our store policies for terms.
Can I finance it?
Yes. Equipment financing is available through our financing partner, and Section 179 tax advantages may apply to a qualifying purchase. Most shops structure the payment against the outsourced print volume the machine brings in-house. Ask your accountant about your specific situation, and browse our equipment financing category.
