Supacolor Headwear Transfers – Small Transfers 2.5″x2.5″

Supacolor

Supacolor Headwear Transfers are the World’s Best Heat Transfer specifically made for caps and other forms of headwear. Print the way top retail surf and streetwear brands do by capturing stunning, photo-realistic images, unlimited gradients, and small free-floating details that neither embroidery nor screen print can do. More incredibly, our special headwear formula allows these transfers to bridge the seam of a cap without cracking! This unique feature allows you to heat press several different types of headwear, including straw, bucket, five and six-panel caps. You can even press over the mesh of trucker caps for unique brand placement.

While our Headwear heat transfers have exceptional stretch, they cannot be washed and are unsuitable for fabrics that will migrate or ones with waterproof coatings. With a quick 10-second press and a very satisfying hot peel, a good heat press operator can knock out 250 – 300 caps per hour.

Expand your product line and grow your sales by combining any commercial cap press and Supacolor Headwear heat transfers.

**The minimum order quantity is 10 sheets per design. You cannot split the minimum between multiple designs or accommodate more than one design within a print area. Any orders submitted under the minimum quantity will be cancelled.

How to Press Soft Shell Blocker Like a Supastar

  1. Set temperature and time
    • 290F (140C)
    • 10 seconds
  2. Load and test Polyester Garment
    • If possible, slip the platen through the shirt so there is only one layer of fabric on top. Otherwise, lay shirt on top of the platen. Avoid pockets if possible.
  3. Set Pressure
    • Manual Press: Tighten dial until the press won’t close. Loosen dial progressively until the press closes, use less pressure for Polyester.
    • Hotronix and Geo Knight: 7-8
    • Pneumatic Press: 35-40 PSI
  4. Pre Press: None – No transfer
    • 100% polyester does not hold moisture, so it should not require a prepress unless you just need to smooth out the fabric for 2 seconds.
  5. Place Supacolor
    • Position the transfer on the garment. Lay teflon sheet or parchment paper over the Supacolor.
  6. Press 8-10 Seconds
  7. Peel Immediately
    • Hot peel immediately from a corner in one smooth motion. Peel with confidence and without hesitation. Hold down soft shell with your free hand for better control.
  8. Post-press: 2 Seconds
    • Use a teflon sheet or parchment to seal the edges of the Supacolor.
