SupaDTF Heat Transfer Pressing Instructions
Follow these simple steps to achieve a vibrant, long-lasting print using SupaDTF heat transfers.
Pressing Instructions:
1️⃣ Set Your Heat Press:
- Temperature: 275°F – 300°F (135°C – 150°C)
- Pressure: Medium (40-60 psi for automatic presses, firm pressure for manual presses)
2️⃣ Pre-Press the Garment:
- Place the garment on the heat press.
- Pre-press for 5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
3️⃣ Position the Transfer:
- Place the SupaDTF transfer on the garment with the printed side facing down (against the fabric).
- Ensure proper alignment before pressing.
4️⃣ Press the Transfer:
- Apply heat for 8-12 seconds at the recommended temperature and pressure.
5️⃣ Peel the Carrier Sheet:
- Cold Peel: Wait for the transfer to cool completely, then peel the carrier sheet off slowly and smoothly.
6️⃣ Post-Press (Recommended for Best Durability):
- Cover the design with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper and press again for 5-8 seconds to enhance wash durability.
Care Instructions:
✅ Wash garments inside out in cold water.
✅ Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent.
✅ Tumble dry low or hang dry.
❌ Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.
❌ Avoid ironing directly over the print.
