Matsui Silver Shimmer 620 Water Base Screen Printing Ink

Product Information:

• Adds decorative metallic finish Substrates
• Cotton
• Cotton / polyester blends
• Cotton / rayon blends

Application Information:

Mesh: Use 80 – 120/inch (31-47/cm) mesh
Stencil: Use a water-proof direct emulsion or capillary film for optimal results
Squeegee:  Square edge, 60-80 durometer blade
Printing: Print directly or mix with 301 Neo pigments onto white and colored fabrics
Drying: Cure for 2.5 to 3 minutes at 320° F (160° C).  Use air flow dryer to cure ink more efficiently
Clean up: Simply use water and mild soap or detergent

Special Recommendations:

Metallic Binder 301 should be mixed in clean vessels using clean mixing blades and utensils. Any contamination from other ink sources or non-approved additives could make Metallic Binder 301 test positive for restricted PVC’s.

• Metallic Binder 301 can be dry cleaned or ironed
• Use Retarder MG 1-5% to help with open time in the screen
• Use Fixer WF-N 1-5% to help with wash fastness
• Use Softener MG 1-4% to help penetrate in to the garment
• Use Thickener B .25-1% to help thicken the ink
• Use RV Additive 1-3% to reduce viscosity
