Application & Printing Tips:

Screen Preparation:

• Use a water-resistant emulsion to prevent stencil breakdown during printing.
• Post-harden the stencil for long print runs to extend durability.

Printing Guidelines:

• Recommended Mesh Count: 86-305 for optimal opacity and detail.
• Squeegee Pressure: Heavy pressure is preferred for best results.
• Printing Method: Print wet-on-wet without flash curing, or use print-flash-print for increased opacity.
• Extended Runs: Mist the screen occasionally with water during long production runs to prevent ink from drying.

Curing Instructions:

• Minimum Cure: 90 seconds at 320°F (160°C).
• Optimal Cure: 2-3 minutes at 340-350°F (171-177°C) with high-volume forced air.
• Proper curing is critical for achieving maximum color fastness and durability.

Ink Modifications:

• If thinning is needed, add up to 10% water to reduce viscosity.
• To extend wet ink open time and prevent drying, add up to 5% EnviroLine® Retarder.
• If using with a pigment system, mix in pigment to the desired shade.

Clean-Up:

• General wash-up can be done with water if the ink has not dried.
• For on-press cleaning, use CCI EnviroSolv®.
• For dried ink and haze stains, CCI WB-1 is recommended.
