Using Orange

Orange covers school and team colors, Halloween and fall designs, and bright summer looks. Burnt and Texas oranges read darker and more collegiate; brighter oranges feel sporty and high-energy.

✓Orange stands out on navy, black, white and gray. Burnt orange pairs well with white and cream.
✓Match team oranges carefully. Texas Orange and Burnt Orange shades differ, so compare swatches to the school color.
✓For maximum visibility, a fluorescent orange is brighter than a standard orange. Neither is a certified safety color on its own.
✓Light oranges and peach shades can show dye migration on dark or sublimated polyester. Test press first.

Is this orange good for safety shirts?

It is a standard color, not a high-visibility material. For the brightest look use a fluorescent orange; for certified safety garments use rated hi-vis materials.

What shirt colors does orange look best on?

Navy, black, white and gray. On red or brown shirts orange loses contrast.

What are the heat press settings for EasyWeed Stretch?

320°F (160°C), firm pressure, 20 seconds, peel hot or cold. EasyPress users add about 30°.

Will it crack on stretchy fabric?

It is built to stretch and rebound with performance fabrics like spandex and dri-fit.

Can I layer EasyWeed Stretch with regular EasyWeed?

Yes. EasyWeed and EasyWeed Stretch can be layered directly on top of each other.

Why are my cut lines jagged?

Slow the cutting speed. The thin, elastic film can bounce under a fast blade.

What Cricut and Silhouette settings should I use?

Cricut Explore Air and Maker: Vinyl+ / Everyday Iron-On. Silhouette 4 & 5: AutoBlade 3, Heat Transfer Smooth, force 6, speed 8.

Can I use a home iron?

Yes. Set the dial between Cotton and Linen, use firm pressure on a hard flat surface, and press each section for 20 seconds.

How do I wash it?

Wait 24 hours, machine wash cold with mild detergent, tumble dry normal. Do not dry clean or use liquid fabric softener.

Is EasyWeed Stretch still made?

Siser lists it as discontinued; EasyWeed EcoStretch is its replacement.
