Fulfillment Associate Pick and Pack
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fulfillment Pick and Pack, Inventory Management, and Shipping Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment, managing inventory, and coordinating the shipping process. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and thrives on delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment:
- Receive and process incoming orders in a timely manner.
- Accurately pick and pack items for shipment based on order specifications.
- Perform quality checks to ensure the correct products and quantities are packed.
- Transfer ink from one container to another, following safety guidelines and protocols.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Monitor ink inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure sufficient ink stock availability.
- Shipping Coordination:
- Select appropriate shipping methods and carriers based on order requirements.
- Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with the shipping department to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Track shipments and provide customers with timely updates on their orders.
- Warehouse Organization:
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Arrange inventory, including ink containers, in a logical and accessible manner for efficient order picking.
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Customer Service:
- Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries regarding orders and shipments.
- Resolve any order discrepancies or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
- A good attitude –
- Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift – Our warehouse is pretty big, so there’s quite a bit of walking involved
- Must be comfortable with using a ladder/stair to retrieve items located on shelving .
- Must be able to work in a non-air conditioned environment – we have fans, but this is Austin and it does get very hot outside, and subsequently inside, because we don’t have A/C in the warehouse
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong focus on physical and mental safety
- Bending, stooping, and must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer knowledge (navigating Windows/iOS devices)
- High school diploma or GED preferred (18+ required)
