Description
Distinctive Teal — The Blue-Green That Owns Its Own Category
Teal #071 doesn’t share its space with any other color. The vivid blue-green at the exact intersection of ocean and tropics, calm and energy, nature and sophistication — it creates immediate visual identity for every brand that adopts it. There is genuinely nothing else like it.
Rich, Balanced Blue-Green Teal
Color #071 is a vivid, fully saturated teal — not a washed-out aqua, not a pale seafoam. A balanced, rich teal that reads as both oceanic and tropical, both calm and vivid, in a distinctive color space no adjacent hue can replicate.
Vivid Ultra-High Gloss Depth
The 4200 Series topcoat amplifies Teal’s distinctive blue-green depth with a luminous, water-quality finish — giving spa window graphics the serene quality of a hydrotherapy pool and coastal resort identification the tropical clarity of Caribbean water.
Permanent Bond for Diverse Environments
The clear permanent acrylic adhesive cures to 2.5 lbs/in after 24 hours — holding spa entrance graphics through daily temperature swings, coastal resort signage through salt air and humidity.
5-Year Outdoor Durability
Rated up to 5 years outdoors — the longevity that permanent coastal resort identification, outdoor spa entrance signage, awareness display panels, and mid-century modern architectural brand graphics require.

How to Apply — Step by Step
Set cutter force to 40–60g and run a test cut. Use a fresh blade for cleanest results on all details.
Weed excess vinyl with a weeding hook. FDC 4200’s cast-like flexibility handles fine detail without tearing.
Apply your 24″ application tape over the weeded design. Squeegee firmly from center out.
Clean with 70% isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth. Allow to dry. Surface must be at or above 40°F.
Position the design, squeegee from center outward to eliminate air pockets, then peel transfer tape at a low angle. Allow 24 hours to cure.
You’ll Also Need: Application Tape
A quality 24″ application tape ensures your Teal graphics transfer cleanly and position precisely.
Where Teal Sign Vinyl Works Best
Compatible Surfaces & Best Pairings
Teal reads powerfully against white, cream, wood tones, and copper or brass accents. Particularly effective on white coastal architecture and natural wood spa interior surfaces. Works on all standard sign vinyl substrates.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions — FDC 4200 Teal Sign Vinyl
What makes Teal #071 different from Azure Blue #032 and Mint #252?
Teal #071 is deeper, more saturated, and more distinctly blue-green than either. Azure #032 leans clearly toward blue with minimal green. Mint #252 is a light, soft blue-green with a calm, delicate character. Teal #071 is the fully saturated, rich blue-green that reads as ocean and tropical water.
Is FDC 4200 Teal the right color for PTSD and ovarian cancer awareness signage?
Yes — teal is the official awareness ribbon and campaign color for both PTSD awareness and ovarian cancer awareness. Verify the exact shade against your campaign’s specific color standards before committing to large production runs.
Can Teal be used for coastal resort and spa entrance signage?
Teal is one of the most natural color choices for both coastal resort and spa applications. FDC 4200’s 5-year outdoor rating and water-resistant permanent adhesive handle the humidity and salt air of coastal environments well with thorough IPA surface prep.
What is the mid-century modern design connection to Teal?
Teal was a signature color of mid-century modern interior design — the 1950s and 60s aesthetic associated with Eames furniture and modernist architecture. In contemporary design, mid-century modern has experienced a major revival and teal plays a central role in its color vocabulary.
What colors pair with Teal for coastal brand and spa identity graphics?
Teal pairs beautifully with white and cream. Coral #113 creates a vivid tropical combination. Copper and brass accents work magnificently for mid-century modern applications. Restful White #202 and natural wood tones create a Zen spa palette.
Does Teal hold up in humid spa and coastal outdoor environments?
FDC 4200 resists water and humidity well and is rated up to 5 years outdoors. For coastal applications with significant salt air exposure, two-pass IPA surface prep is critical. Not rated for continuous submersion.
What application tape works best with Teal?
Clear 24″ film tape is ideal for spa interior and coastal resort window graphic installations where precise visual positioning against architectural elements matters. PC-24 paper tape handles all standard Teal applications reliably.
