Using AlbaChem Web Spray Adhesive: Secure Bond for Fleece & Sweats Printing

Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace

Ensure you are working in a well-ventilated area. It’s important to have adequate ventilation when using any adhesive spray. Lay out your fleece or sweats garments and set up your printing equipment, including your pallets, in a clean and organized manner.

Step 2: Shake the Can

Before each use, shake the can of AlbaChem Web Spray Adhesive vigorously. This ensures that the adhesive is well-mixed and ready for application.

Step 3: Apply AlbaChem Web Spray Adhesive

Hold the can of AlbaChem Web Spray Adhesive approximately 6 to 8 inches away from your printing pallet. Spray a light, even coat of adhesive over the pallet surface where you plan to place your fleece or sweats garment. Ensure complete coverage but avoid over-spraying, as a little goes a long way.

Step 4: Allow for Flash Time

After applying the adhesive to the pallet, allow it to flash off or dry for a brief moment. The exact flash time may vary depending on your environmental conditions, but typically, a few seconds to a minute should suffice.

Step 5: Place Your Garment

Carefully position your fleece or sweats garment onto the pallet, pressing it down firmly to ensure a secure bond with the adhesive. Make sure the garment is aligned correctly for your printing design.

Step 6: Start Printing

With your garment securely bonded to the pallet, you can now begin the screen printing process. The AlbaChem Web Spray Adhesive will hold the fabric in place, preventing any unwanted movement or shifting during printing.

Step 7: Repeat as Needed

If you are printing multiple garments, repeat the process for each one. After printing, check the pallet for any adhesive residue, and clean it if necessary.

Step 8: Clean-Up

After completing your printing job, it’s essential to clean your pallets thoroughly to remove any adhesive residue. Use an appropriate adhesive cleaner or solvent as recommended by AlbaChem.
