Easiway EasiSolv™ 500 Emulsion Remover – 1:30 Concentrate for Screen Printing Reclaim
Easiway Chemicals
EasiSolv 500 is a highly concentrated emulsion and stencil remover from Easiway — one of the most trusted names in screen printing chemistry. Dilute 1:10 to 1:50 with water and apply by spray, brush, or dip tank. It removes direct emulsions, direct/indirect stencils, and capillary films while simultaneously degreasing the mesh, leaving it clean and ready to recoat in one step.
Price range: $38.23 through $6,524.23
Description
Concentrated Emulsion Removal. Odorless. Economical.
EasiSolv 500’s high concentration means more screens per gallon at a lower cost per reclaim. Removes diazo, dual-cure, and photopolymer emulsions reliably in manual, dip tank, and automated reclaim setups — without harsh odors or hazardous chemistry.
Key Features
💧
Highly Concentrated
Dilutes 1:10 for dip tank use and up to 1:50 for manual applications — delivering a low cost per screen reclaimed, particularly for shops processing high daily volumes.
🧬
All Major Emulsion Types
Breaks down diazo, dual-cure, and photopolymer emulsions quickly and reliably without damaging mesh threads or frame materials.
⚙️
Three Application Methods
Works for manual reclaiming, dip tank soaking, and automated screen reclaim systems. One product for your entire reclaim setup.
🛡️
Odorless & Non-Hazardous
No harsh chemical odor, non-flammable, non-hazardous, and biodegradable — a significantly safer profile than traditional solvent-based emulsion removers.
How to Use in a Dip Tank
Use a squeegee or scraper to remove bulk ink from the print side of the screen before soaking. This protects the chemistry and improves efficiency.
Dilute 1 part EasiSolv 500 to 10 parts water in a clean dip tank.
Fill the dip tank with the diluted solution per the manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure the tank is clean and free of contaminants before filling.
Immerse screens fully in the solution. Use the hold-down bar if needed to keep screens submerged.
Allow screens to soak for the recommended dwell time. Do not leave screens soaking for extended periods — over-soaking reduces the effectiveness of the chemistry.
Remove screens and apply a high-pressure rinse to both sides to flush out dissolved ink and emulsion. Start from the top and work down.
Follow with a low-pressure flood rinse over the entire screen to ensure complete removal of chemical residue.
Inspect the screen. Repeat dipping for heavily soiled screens. Proceed to haze removal and degreasing before recoating.
Manual Application
Mix 1:10 to 1:50 with water depending on emulsion and cleaning strength needed.
Apply to both sides of the screen using brush, wipe, scrub pad, or spray after ink has been removed.
Rinse both sides thoroughly. Follow with flood rinse from top to bottom.
Important: Remove Ink First
EasiSolv 500 is a dedicated emulsion remover — not an ink remover. Remove bulk ink from the screen using a press wash or ink degradent before applying EasiSolv 500 for emulsion removal. Residual ink can interfere with emulsion removal performance.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What dilution ratio should I start with for EasiSolv 500?
Start at 1:20. If stencil removal is slow, increase concentration. If results are good, try diluting further to reduce cost. Effective range is 1:10 to 1:50.
Does EasiSolv 500 also degrease the mesh?
Yes. Beyond removing emulsion, 500 includes degreasers that prepare the mesh for recoating. Follow high-pressure rinse with a low-pressure flood rinse from the top to clear residue.
Can I use 500 in a dip tank?
Yes. Mix at your working ratio in a dip tank. For one-step ink AND emulsion removal in a dip tank, see EasiStrip Supra.
What emulsion types does 500 work with?
Direct emulsions, direct/indirect stencil systems, and capillary films — the most common emulsion systems in screen printing shops.
How do I apply 500 for best results?
Remove ink first. Mix 500 at your dilution ratio. Apply to both sides with brush, scrub pad, or spray. Allow brief dwell. High-pressure rinse both sides. Follow with low-pressure flood rinse from the top.
