Description

Franmar UV Ink Remover

UV inks are tough. They cure quickly, bond aggressively to mesh, and laugh at standard plastisol cleaners. Franmar UV Ink Remover is built for this — a soy-based formula that breaks down UV inks without requiring acetone, toluene, or other solvents that degrade mesh and create hazardous fumes. The low evaporation rate gives you more working time. At just 1.6% VOC, it’s significantly better for indoor air quality than conventional UV ink cleaners.

UV Ink Specialist

Formulated specifically for UV-cured inks. Bean-e-doo works on plastisol; Greeneway covers multiple types; UV Ink Remover is the dedicated solution for UV.

Extremely Low VOC

At 1.6% VOC (0.13 g/L), this is one of the lowest VOC UV ink removers available. Significantly better for indoor air quality than acetone-based alternatives.

Low Evaporation Rate

Stays active on the screen longer than fast-evaporating solvents. More working time means more thorough cleaning with less chemical waste.

pH 4.65 — Gentle Formula

Balanced pH means safer handling for press operators and reclaim room staff during repeated daily use.

Replaces Acetone & Mineral Spirits

The go-to replacement for shops that have been using acetone, toluene, or mineral spirits to fight UV ink — same results without the hazards.

Soy-Based

Made from American-grown soybeans. 100% biodegradable.

How to Use Franmar UV Ink Remover

Step 1 — Apply

Spray or pour a small amount of UV Ink Remover onto the screen.

Step 2 — Scrub

Scrub thoroughly with a shop towel, nylon brush, or Biggee™ pad. The low evaporation rate means you have more time to work.

Step 3 — Repeat on Back

Apply to and scrub the back (substrate side) of the screen as needed.

Step 4 — Rinse

Rinse both sides with high-pressure water to remove dissolved UV ink and chemical residue.
