Description
Cool, Refreshing Mint — Calm in Every Application
Mint #252 is green with the volume turned down and the elegance turned up. A cool, light blue-green that communicates freshness, calm, and modern sophistication — landing in the sweet spot between spa serenity and candy shop whimsy. Whether it’s a dental office identity system, a macaron shop window, or a garden center welcome sign, Mint makes the brand feel instantly inviting.
Cool, Refreshing Mint Blue-Green
Color #252 is a light, luminous mint — not a heavy forest green, not a neon lime, not a flat pastel. A vibrant but calm blue-green with the quality of fresh spearmint leaf and modern Scandinavian interiors that makes every installation feel light and intentional.
Luminous High-Gloss Elegance
The 4200 Series topcoat gives Mint a glossy, clean luminance that amplifies its refreshing character — spa window graphics that feel serene, dental practice signage that feels hygienic and welcoming, confectionery window decals that feel as fresh as the product inside.
Reliable Permanent Adhesive
The clear permanent acrylic adhesive bonds to 2.5 lbs/in after 24 hours — holding spa entrance graphics through daily temperature swings, dental signage in clean environments, and garden center displays through the seasonal humidity of a greenhouse setting.
5-Year Outdoor Performance
Rated up to 5 years outdoors under vertical exposure — garden center exterior identification, wellness studio storefront graphics, and outdoor dining area decor signage all benefit from Mint’s lasting freshness across multiple seasons.

How to Apply — Step by Step
Set cutter force to 40–60g and run a test cut before production. Use a fresh blade for cleanest results.
Weed excess vinyl with a weeding hook. FDC 4200’s cast-like flexibility handles fine detail without tearing neighboring cuts.
Apply your 24″ application tape over the weeded design. Squeegee firmly from center out to bond tape to the vinyl face.
Clean with 70% isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth. Allow to dry completely. Surface must be at or above 40°F.
Position the design, squeegee from center outward to eliminate air pockets, then peel transfer tape at a low angle. Allow 24 hours to cure.
You’ll Also Need: Application Tape
A quality 24″ application tape ensures your Mint graphics transfer cleanly and position precisely every time.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions — FDC 4200 Mint Sign Vinyl
How does Mint #252 compare to the other greens in the FDC 4200 line?
Mint #252 is the lightest, coolest, and most delicate of the FDC 4200 greens. It has a blue-green character that reads as fresh and serene rather than vibrant or earthy. Kelly Green #061 is fully saturated and vivid, Lime Green #257 is electric and high-energy, and Forest Green #142 is deep and authoritative. Mint is the spa and confectionery green of the family.
Is Mint Green good for dental practice and healthcare office signage?
Mint is one of the most popular colors for dental and healthcare identity work. The color’s association with oral freshness and clinical cleanliness makes it highly effective for dental practice logos, reception signage, and office identity graphics that communicate hygiene and care in a visually immediate way.
What colors pair well with Mint for confectionery and café graphics?
Mint pairs beautifully with white for a clean, modern bakery look. Rose gold and blush pink create a popular Instagram-aesthetic confectionery palette. Gold adds a luxury artisan touch. Warm cream gives a vintage patisserie feel. Avoid pairing with heavy, competing colors — Mint’s elegance comes from restraint.
Can Mint be used for garden center exterior signage?
Yes — FDC 4200 is rated up to 5 years outdoors under vertical exposure. Mint works well for garden center entrance signage, greenhouse identification panels, plant nursery display graphics, and spring seasonal outdoor displays. Apply above 40°F on clean, dry surfaces and allow 24 hours cure.
Does Mint look different under different types of lighting?
Yes — Mint reads cooler and more distinctly blue-green under fluorescent and LED cool-white lighting, and slightly warmer under incandescent and natural warm-white light. For brand-consistent spa and wellness identity work, test a sample under the actual installation lighting environment before committing to full production.
Is FDC 4200 Mint suitable for yoga studio and wellness brand graphics?
Absolutely — Mint’s calm, fresh, restorative quality makes it a natural fit for yoga studios, meditation centers, wellness coaching practices, and holistic health brands. Applied to glass, white walls, or wood-panel surfaces in wellness interiors, it creates an immediately serene visual impression.
What application tape works best with Mint?
Both PC-24 paper tape and the clear 24″ film tape work well with Mint. Paper tape is the practical all-purpose choice for most applications. Clear film tape is particularly useful for spa and confectionery window graphics where precise visual positioning against existing layout elements matters for the final presentation.
