Instructions for using Chromaline Textac Liquid Pallet Adhesive:

1. Preparation: Cover the surface of your screen printing pallet with pallet tape or pallet paper to completely protect the pallet. Ensure that the pallet is clean and free from any dust or debris before applying the tape or paper. A clean surface will allow the adhesive to bond effectively.
2. Shake Well: Before using Textac, shake the bottle well to mix the adhesive thoroughly.
3. Apply Adhesive: Using a brush or an applicator, apply a thin and even layer of Textac onto the covered surface of the pallet where you want the garment to be held down during printing. Be sure to apply the adhesive only to the areas where the shirt will be placed.
4. Allow to Dry: Let the adhesive air dry for a few seconds or until it becomes tacky. The adhesive should still feel sticky to the touch but not wet or runny. If you want to speed up the drying process, you can flash your pallets briefly using a heat gun or flash dryer.
5. Place Garment: Carefully place the t-shirt or garment onto the pallet, aligning it with the desired print location. Press down gently to ensure good adhesion between the garment and the pallet.
6. Printing: Now that the garment is securely held in place by the Textac adhesive, proceed with the screen printing process as usual. The adhesive will prevent the shirt from shifting or moving during printing, resulting in more precise and accurate prints.
7. Reapply as Needed: Depending on the printing job, you may need to reapply Textac adhesive after printing a certain number of garments. Textac has excellent tack retention and can hold garments in place for multiple prints, but if you notice the adhesive losing its grip, simply reapply as necessary.
8. Clean Up: After the printing job is complete, remove the pallet tape or pallet paper, and any excess adhesive on the pallet can be easily cleaned off using water or a mild detergent. Ensure the pallet is clean and ready for the next use.
