Franmar Aqua-Wash™ Water-Based Ink Remover
Water-based ink is harder on screens than plastisol — it dries quickly in the mesh, causes ghosting, and requires chemistry that actually keeps up. Aqua-Wash is formulated specifically for this environment. Use it on press to reopen clogged mesh during a run, use it in the reclaim room to fully remove WB inks, and watch ghost images virtually disappear. One gallon cleans up to 240 screens.

How to Use Franmar Aqua-Wash
On Press — Screen Opening
Spray or pour a small amount onto a damp shop towel. Wipe the clogged mesh area gently. Rinse with water. Screen is ready to continue printing.
On Press — Color Changes
Apply Aqua-Wash to the ink side of the screen. Use a brush with water to work it into the ink. Rinse to remove dissolved ink and chemical.
Reclaim Room — Ink Removal
Spray or pour onto screen. Scrub with Biggee™ scrub pad on both sides. Rinse both sides with high-pressure water.

No. Aqua-Wash is formulated for water-based inks. For plastisol, use Bean-e-doo (reclaim room) or Color Change (on press).
Does Aqua-Wash prevent ghost images?
It significantly reduces ghosting compared to other cleaners. For stubborn ghost images that remain after reclaim, use D•Haze or D•Haze Gel.
How do I use it as a screen opener?
