Description

Franmar Greeneway™ Multipurpose Ink Remover

If your shop runs multiple ink systems, Greeneway is the one product that covers all of them. Plastisol for garments, UV for specialty printing, solvent for hard-surface work, all-purpose and lacquer inks — one soy-based formula handles the whole lineup. Dilutable up to 50% with water for cost reduction, ideal for recirculating systems, and fast-acting enough for production reclaim workflows.

Every Ink Type

Plastisol, UV, solvent, all-purpose, nylon jacket, and lacquer inks — Greeneway covers the full range without needing different products for different ink systems.

Dilutable Up to 50%

Mix Greeneway with equal parts water for economy use on lighter ink loads. Full strength for heavy deposits. The dilution flexibility adds significant cost savings in high-volume shops.

Ideal for Recirculating Tanks

The formula is specifically noted as ideal for recycle/recirculating tank systems, which further reduces per-screen cost.

Won’t Remove Tape Residue

Unlike some aggressive cleaners, Greeneway won’t lift or damage tape on the screen. This allows for more controlled cleanup without frame tape damage.

On-Press Color Changes

Can be used on press for color changes — particularly effective when switching between ink types mid-run.

Soy-Based & Low Odor

Made from American-grown soybeans. Fast-acting and low odor for a more comfortable production environment.

How to Use Franmar Greeneway

Step 1 — Dilute If Needed

For light ink loads, mix 1:1 with water. For heavy deposits or UV inks, use full strength.

Step 2 — Apply

Spray or pour onto the ink side of the screen.

Step 3 — Scrub Both Sides

Scrub with Biggee™ scrub pad on front and back of screen.

Step 4 — Rinse

Rinse both sides with high-pressure water to remove dissolved ink and chemical.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What makes Greeneway different from Bean-e-doo?

Bean-e-doo is optimized for plastisol only. Greeneway is the multipurpose formula that handles UV, solvent, and lacquer inks in addition to plastisol — making it the right choice for shops running mixed ink environments.

Can Greeneway be used for UV inks specifically?

Yes. Greeneway is one of the best Franmar products for UV ink removal and is often used at full strength for UV ink reclaim.

What’s the dilution ratio for plastisol ink?

Up to 1:1 (50% Greeneway / 50% water) for plastisol. For UV and solvent inks, use full strength for best results.

Will Greeneway damage my screen tape?

No. Franmar specifically notes that Greeneway will not remove tape residue, which makes it safe for use on taped screens.

Is Greeneway good for recirculating systems?

Yes. It’s specifically listed as ideal for recirculating/recycle tank applications.
