Instructions for Using ICC 858 Stain Remover/Degreaser in the Screen Reclamation Process:

1. Begin by using an ink degradent to remove as much ink as possible from the screen. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the ink degradent product you are using.
2. Next, apply an emulsion remover to dissolve and remove the emulsion from the screen. Make sure to thoroughly rinse the screen to remove all traces of the emulsion remover.
3. Once the ink degradent and emulsion remover have been applied and rinsed from the screen, it’s time to use ICC 858 Stain Remover/Degreaser.
4. Apply ICC 858 Stain Remover/Degreaser directly to the screen mesh. Use a brush or scrub pad to work the degreaser into the mesh, focusing on areas with stains or residual ink.
5. Allow the degreaser to dwell on the screen for the recommended amount of time specified by the product instructions. This will typically be a few minutes.
6. After the dwell time, scrub the screen again with the degreaser to ensure thorough cleaning.
7. Rinse the screen thoroughly with high-pressure water to remove all traces of the degreaser, ink residues, and emulsion remnants.
8. Check the screen to ensure that all stains, ghosting, and contaminants have been removed. If needed, repeat the process for stubborn stains or heavily soiled screens.
9. After using ICC 858 Stain Remover/Degreaser, the screen will be degreased, like new, and ready to use again. Stencils will adhere more readily to the cleaned mesh.
