CCI ECO-STRIP® Part A – Ink & Haze Remover for Automatic and Manual Screen Reclaiming

Printer Choice

CCI ECO-STRIP® Part A is a high-performance, water-soluble ink degradent and haze remover engineered for professional automatic screen reclaim systems, dip tanks, and manual reclaiming. It breaks down plastisol, UV, and water-based inks while aggressively removing ghost images and cured ink stains from all mesh types. When combined with CCI Part C Emulsion Remover, ECO-STRIP® Part A becomes a stable two-component reclaiming system capable of removing ink and emulsion simultaneously — reducing reclaim time, labor, and chemical usage dramatically. Non-flammable, non-hazardous, biodegradable, and low-VOC.

Description

Automatic Reclaim. Ink + Haze Removal. One System.

ECO-STRIP® Part A is the ink degradent and haze remover component of CCI’s professional two-part automatic screen reclaim system. Use alone for ink and haze removal, or combine with Part C Emulsion Remover for a complete ink-and-emulsion simultaneous removal solution that dramatically reduces reclaim labor in high-volume environments.

Why High-Volume Shops Choose ECO-STRIP® Part A

🏭

Built for Automatic Systems

Specifically engineered for inline reclaim machines, dip tanks, and recirculating washout systems. High solvency and water solubility make it compatible with professional automated reclaim equipment.

🔗

2-in-1 When Paired with Part C

Combine with CCI Part C Emulsion Remover to create a stable solution that removes ink and emulsion simultaneously — the standard dilution is 30 gal Part A + 1 qt Part C + 69.75 gal water.

🛡️

Non-Hazardous & Operator Safe

Non-flammable, low-VOC, non-corrosive, and non-hazardous classification. Biodegradable and drain-safe (verify local wastewater regulations). High load capacity reduces per-screen chemical use.

💧

Water-Soluble Formula

Completely water-soluble for easy integration into water-based reclaim systems. High solvency delivers aggressive ink breakdown without damaging mesh fibers or causing premature screen wear.

How to Use ECO-STRIP® Part A

1
Ink-Only Application
For ink and haze removal only, use Part A neat or diluted per equipment manufacturer recommendations in your dip tank or recirculating system.
2
Prepare 2-in-1 Solution (with Part C)
Standard dilution: Add 1 quart of Part C Emulsion Remover to 30 gallons of Part A. Stir to combine. Then add 69.75 gallons of water and stir again for a uniform solution.
3
Load into Reclaim System
Fill your inline reclaim machine or dip tank with the prepared solution per equipment instructions.
4
Process Screens
Run screens through the system. Both ink and emulsion are removed simultaneously when using the Part A + Part C formulation.
5
High-Pressure Rinse
Rinse thoroughly with high-pressure water to remove all chemistry and dissolved residue from mesh.
6
Degrease Before Coating
Follow with a screen degreaser before coating for best emulsion adhesion.

ECO-STRIP® System Overview

Part A Alone

Use Part A for ink degradation and haze removal in dip tanks or reclaim systems where emulsion removal is handled separately.

Part A + Part C

Combine to create a complete 2-in-1 solution that strips ink and emulsion simultaneously. Ideal for inline automatic reclaim machines.

Standard Mix Ratio

30 gallons Part A + 1 quart Part C + 69.75 gallons water = 100-gallon standard working solution.

High Load Capacity

High load capacity means the solution can process more screens before exhaustion, reducing how often the tank must be refreshed and lowering per-screen cost.

Important Notes

Compatible Automatic Screen Reclaiming Systems

CCI ECO-STRIP® Part A is the ink removal chemistry used in professional automatic screen reclaiming systems. Its water-soluble, high-solvency, non-corrosive formula meets the requirements of the recirculating pump systems, spray nozzles, and filtration used in these machines.

M&R Eco-Tex (Lite, Standard & Modular)

The M&R Eco-Tex family of automatic screen cleaners uses a dedicated ink removal module (Module 1) where ink removal chemistry is recirculated and sprayed onto screens. ECO-STRIP® Part A is the type of chemistry these systems are designed for — water-soluble, high-solvency, and compatible with the recirculating pump and filtration system.

CCI DST-1 / DST-2 Dip’N Strip® Tanks

CCI’s own Dip’N Strip dip tanks (DST-1 and DST-2) are engineered around ECO-STRIP® chemistry. The polyethylene tank construction is specifically chosen for chemical compatibility with CCI’s 2-in-1 ink and emulsion removers.

Lawson Ajax In-Line Screen Reclaimer & Poly-Pro Dip Tanks

Lawson’s inline reclaimer and dip tank systems use the same water-soluble reclaim chemistry approach. ECO-STRIP® Part A’s water-soluble, non-corrosive formulation is compatible with polypropylene and polyethylene dip tank construction.

Other Inline & Recirculating Reclaim Systems

Any automatic screen reclaiming system that uses a recirculating ink removal module with spray nozzles and filtration can use ECO-STRIP® Part A. Key requirements: water-soluble chemistry, non-corrosive, and high load capacity. Contact us to confirm compatibility with your specific equipment.

⚙️ Important: Consult Your Equipment Manual

Always follow your automatic reclaim system manufacturer’s guidelines for chemistry dilution ratios, dosing pump settings, and filtration maintenance. Contact us at (512) 454-0505 if you need help matching ECO-STRIP® chemistry to your specific equipment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can Part A be used without Part C?

Yes. Part A alone functions as an ink degradent and haze remover for dip tanks and reclaim systems where emulsion removal is handled separately. Combine with Part C only when you want simultaneous ink and emulsion removal.

What is the standard mix ratio for the 2-in-1 solution?

The standard dilution is 30 gallons of Part A + 1 quart of Part C + 69.75 gallons of water, creating a 100-gallon working solution that removes both ink and emulsion simultaneously.

How does ECO-STRIP® Part A ship?

Part A ships as a 30-gallon drum with an approximate shipping weight of 500 lbs. This requires freight shipping. Contact us at (512) 454-0505 for a shipping quote before ordering.

Is Part A safe for all mesh types?

Yes. The water-soluble, non-corrosive formula is safe for all standard screen printing mesh types and does not damage mesh fibers when used as directed.

Is this product drain-safe?

Yes, when used as directed. However, drain-safe status depends on local municipal wastewater regulations. Always verify with your local authority before discharge.

Is ECO-STRIP® Part A compatible with M&R Eco-Tex systems?

Yes. ECO-STRIP® Part A is the type of water-soluble, non-corrosive, high-solvency ink removal chemistry designed for M&R Eco-Tex systems (Lite, Standard, and Modular). The Eco-Tex Module 1 applies and recirculates ink removal chemistry — Part A meets these requirements. Always confirm dilution ratios with your M&R equipment documentation.

What other automatic reclaim systems can use Part A?

In addition to M&R Eco-Tex systems, Part A is compatible with CCI’s own Dip’N Strip dip tanks (DST-1, DST-2), Lawson Ajax in-line reclaimers, and other inline or recirculating screen reclaim equipment that requires water-soluble ink removal chemistry. Contact us to confirm compatibility with your specific machine.
